iCE...
insane Creators
Enterprise...
It is a name
that we all know. And some love. Including myself. I
have been a iCE fan since before Avenge was even conceived.
The reason
you are reading this is because. I am a great lover of
design. From the moment I got wind that the mighty iCE was working
on a new web site, something that would top their already ...
beautiful masterpiece, of course I start seeking a way to catch
just one glimpse, to cool my burning lips.
I talked to
some people, trying to describe my love for design and
my awe towards iCE's already great accomplishment. Some understood
this, therefore I gained access to v2.ice.org
... I cannot describe
my excitement.
Now, I did
not see the interfaces in their finished form, so I can
not say. But I was kind of disappointed at what I saw. But I'm
sure
it will be just as great as the ice.org we have known for the
past
years. Which HONESTLY I think is awesome. I show it to many of
my friends and work mates
But, coming
to a point. iCE is a bit troubled about what I wrote in
the newsletter accompanying Avenge08. And I understand. But let
me
please try to explain.
iCE is *THE*
best web development group to date in the scene in my
opinion. Now, here comes Avenge. I am leading up the DT division,
or web, whatever. Is it not normal for a fan to want to be like
one
of his idols maybe even attempt to outdo that one?
So, closing
up. I did not mean to offend iCE in ANY way. I was
mainly trying to build some excitement about the XXi project.
I
truly think that it would be VERY hard to outdo the CURRENT
ice.org. Again it is AWESOME (I don't know why they are changing
it).
I was just
wanting to see v2 because I was curious, and I ended up
writing about it not because I was out to hurt anyone just cause
I
was not thinking.
So this is
a PERSONAL apology from me to iCE and its members.
ps: you guys
rawk, keep it up!
