is back, im back! phew.. what was i doing again?
dangermouse:
damn my lag
pariahFAT: Well, i started out ripping bitstream
about 1 year ago, then i started coloring my asciis to make
them look different from bitstreams stuff. After about two
months I got better and joined plain, later joined soap/cia/blade/asciid..
now i'm fully happy with my stuff and am in eclipse/acid
dangermouse: ascii - ahh.. the art of the $$ sign..

pariahFAT: yeah.. i try and make my stuff different
though.

pariahFAT: yeah.. i just wanted to settle down with
one ascii group before i leave for college.

and yeah, 3 groups to deal with

pariahFAT: its a bitch ;) i have to sell a lot of
stuff just to rent a place near campus.

pariahFAT: i tried convincing my parents to let me
stay.. they wouldnt let me

pariahFAT: yeah, they said it was "good for me" at
least they're giving me a little money to start off though.

haha.. yeah.. umm, so what do you think of halaster quiting?
is good old lgiocde doing a good job? (or did you quit b4
then?)
pariahFAT: i think hal's resignation isn't a good
thing. namely because the ansi department depended on him
as leader and now that eerie quit, big shoes are left to
be filled.
dangermouse: eerie has gone too... yeah that wouldnt
be good.. but hal is still there an the ansi dept.. he didnt
quit for good which is cool
pariahFAT: god among lice is handling things quite
smoothly though, at least up until i quit. the only down
side may be that a lot of ansi artists don't know him since
he's strictly hi-res.
dangermouse: yeah, good point
pariahFAT: yeah, if hal left fire it would probably
cause a lot of ruckus among the ansi dept.
pariahFAT: especially if he joined some other group,
lets say acid ;)

hal may still be looked upon a figure head of the group,
even tho he's not pres

umm, yeah i spose hal would still be seen as the figure

pariahFAT: yeah.. even if eerie's left the group,
everyone will regard him as the ansi coordinator. i've heard
rumors he's going to take the position of ansi coordinator
back anyway.
dangermouse: ahh.. thats good.. hal would have to
be one of my heros these days too, a lot of fire's ansi
ppl prolly have been inspired by him ..
dangermouse: in a way it doesnt matter if he leads
the group or not, the inspiration is still there
pariahFAT: exactly. the relationship hal has to fire
is really unlike any other except perhaps napalm and cia.
as long as he is in the group, he will be regarded as the
group leader.
dangermouse: haha.. yeah, i spose you could say that..
but i think god of lice is doing a good job at the top..
ill have to interview him..

god among lice is doing a really good job, but fire is more
of an ansi group. so the ansi artists will look up to halaster
more than lgiocde.
dangermouse: yeah, spose.. god may have to form a
stronger relationship with the ansi dept.. but really its
the dept heads i spose that are the mediators between the
artists and the prez

as ascii head to join acid.
dangermouse: hmm.. was that i wise move do you think?
what were the reasons behind your decision :>
pariahFAT: well, im getting more into real life and
my music carreer (im a hip-hop dj and plan am releasing
my first cd this winter). i really didn't feel like i would
have the time to coordinate fire!a.
pariahFAT: im going to be attending uva with lgiocde
and panacea though, so we'll still keep in touch :)
dangermouse: yeah good point.. time is of the essence
when the burdens of "real-life" hit ya.. i should know,
university takes up about 70% or more of my time these days,
even on hols, so releasing ansis for me has become a tad
harder
